PSR

OutBack Power Systems introduces a new idea - a combined battery cabinet and system component rack that is changing how renewable energy systems are installed. The PSR saves time, money and space by combining the batteries, disconnects, overcurrent protection devices and even the inverter/charger into a single enclosure. The PSR is shipped knocked down for ease of shipment, storage and installation. The PSR is also available frame only (PSR-FO) or insulated rainproof outdoor version (PSR-3R)

Standard Features and Components

· ETL listed indoor powder coated steel enclosure with internal support frame , shelves and removable side/top panels (PSR version)

· Holds up to twelve Group 27/31, eight T105, four L16, or even four 8D type batteries

· Shipped knocked down for easy shipping and storage – electric screwdriver bit tool included

· All sides and top can be removed with conduit attached on the PSR and PSR-3R versions

· Includes DC breaker bracket which holds up to five small breakers and one large breaker

· Easily connected to various power inverters or the OutBack PSDC via 2” conduit

· Available with or without the circuit breakers included – easily added option in the field

· PSRs can be directly mated end to end for large storage battery systems

Optional Components

· PSR-SK - Additional shelf kit for use with more batteries or components

· One OBDC-100, 175 or 250 DC breaker for disconnecting the inverter/battery system

· OBDC-60 - PV array disconnect 60 amp DC

· OBDC-GFP/2 - Dual circuit 60 amp PV ground fault protection system for one or two PV controllers (only one OBDC-GFP/2 fits)

· OBDC15 and OBDC-30 breakers for DC loads

· PSR-SZ4 - Seismic zone 4 Kit to meet UBC earthquake safety requirements

· PSR-SCT - Spill Containment Tray for one shelf – holds up to four Group 31, T105 or L16 batteries or one 8D battery

Molded Green Polyethylene plastic

· PSR-HDT - Heavy Duty Top for mounting an SW series inverter directly on top of a PSR cabinet – indoor use only

· PSR-BCK – Breaker cover kit for PSR only

· PSR-MP - Mounting plate for components such as inverters or PV charge controllers

PSR Power System Rack

includes removable top & side panels, two shelves and conduit / breaker knockout plates PSR front bracket will hold one DC-GFP/2, two PV array disconnect breakers and one large inverter/battery breaker. Holds eight non-sealed T105 or four non-sealed L-16s with space to check and add water without removing the top. Holds twelve sealed Group 31 / T105 using one add’l shelf kit or four sealed 8D batteries with two add’l shelf kits. For indoor use only – ETL listed under UL1741 as an Photovoltaic accessory – Shipped unassembled in three boxes.

same as the standard PSR except without the any enclosure panels or any conduit / breaker brackets – Comes standard with three shelves (optional additional shelves) - Ships in 2 boxes
Holds 12 non-sealed T105s or 8 non-sealed L-16s with enough space above the batteries to check and add water. Holds 16 sealed Group 31 / T105 using one add’l shelf kit or 5 sealed 8Ds using two add’l shelf kits. Not ETL listed

PSR-3RK Type 3R / Outdoor Rainproof Kit

additional field installable kit to allow mounting of the PSR outdoor. Includes insulated powder coated aluminum rainshield, gasketing and a lockable, transparent flip up circuit breaker cover
Shipped as a kit in one additional box – ETL listed as a photovoltaic accessory for outdoor use as a battery/inverter enclosure

PSR-SK Shelf Kit

additional shelf for the PSR for more batteries or inverter/charger when using sealed batteries

PSR-SZ4 Seismic Zone 4 kit

includes two mounting feet and battery restraint straps for up to 12 batteries

PSR-HDT Heavy Duty Top

allows mounting of an SW series inverter/charger with conduit box on top of the PSR cabinet. Also will hold up to four of the OutBack FX2000 inverter chargers without provision for conduit on the DC cabling

PSR-SCT Spill Containment Tray

Holds four Group 31, T105 or L16 batteries - fits on one PSR shelf - molded polyethylene

PSR-MP Mounting Plate for PSR

attaches to the back of any PSR version to allow mounting of electrical components. Predrilled for TBB and GBB options and various other control / inverter components - fits inside of enclosure panel

PSR-JBK J-Bolt Kit

allows easy installation of the FX2000 inside of a PSR on a shelf. Includes 4 J-bolts and nuts

DC Overcurrent Protection

includes mounting space for up to five of the small ¾ inch PV disconnect breakers or one DC-GFP and two PV disconnect breakers and one large 175 or 250 amp inverter / battery DC disconnect breaker
