THE OUTBACK
SURVIVALIST SYSTEM
Perfect for Remote Homes, Larger Cabins,
Telecommunication or Military Systems, Industrial or Commercial
Systems, and many more extreme remote applications
Rock solid from the
ground up, the Outback PATHMAKER system provides you with a
foundation that you'll be able to build upon and rely upon for years
to come.
THE INVERTER
At the heart of
this system is the Outback Power FX series
inverter. This modular "building block” sine wave inverter/charger
is perfect for both small and large power systems.
Each OutBack FX
pure sine wave inverter/charger is a complete power conversion
system - DC to AC inverter, battery charger and AC transfer switch.
Additional FX inverter/chargers can be connected at any time in
either parallel (120 VAC), series (120/240 VAC), or three-phase (120Y208 VAC)
configurations. This allows a system to be tailored to meet the
specific power conversion requirements of the application, both at
the time of the installation and in the future. The OutBack FX is
designed to survive harsh environments anywhere in the world.
With it's unique,
sealed, gasketed, die-cast
aluminum casing, it's virtually impervious to the major causes of
inverter failure. Contaminants such as moisture, dirt, insects and
small animals which would spell death to an ordinary inverter, can't
touch this beauty !
THE SOLAR
MODULES
From the bitter cold of the South Pole to the searing heat of the
Sahara Desert, the advanced technology that goes into each and every
Mitsubishi
solar module has proven itself in test after test for more than 25
years.
Utilizing the latest state of the art patented process for
manufacturing multi-crystalline silicon Mitsubishi solar modules have
achieved efficiencies once thought impossible. Mitsubishi's
newly developed treatment method processes multi-crystalline silicon
cells in order to produce a surface texture that minimizes surface
reflectance and maximizes output, resulting in a maximized
conversion efficiency.
Couple this panel's high efficiency with its voltage optimized
output (24.2 Volts) for better performance in extreme environments
and you've got one screaming panel that the competition just can't
touch.
Each Mitsubishi
solar
module utilizes a sturdy anodized aluminum frame which has been
assembled using stainless steel screws rather than flimsy rivets for
a lifetime of rigorous use. Add to this the latest in solar module
interconnection technology, blocking diodes and a 25 year warranty
and there's no question as to why
Mitsubishi solar modules are among
the best selling, best performing, most reliable products on the
market !
THE MOUNTING
RACKS
Ask anyone in the
industry, who makes the best mounting racks in the world, and you'll
hear the name Unirac mentioned time after time.
SolarMount's
third-generation extruded aluminum rail is the most versatile yet.
Top down assembly is ideal for Plug and Play PV modules. An entire
array can be assembled and wired where they're installed. The
continuous, slotted rails provide the ultimate in adjustablility. No
more re-drilling holes or repositioning footings.
Rated for 120 mile
per hour winds, you can huff and puff, but you'll never blow these
babies down !
THE CHARGE
CONTROLLER
What can we say ?
The OutBack MX60 is the hottest selling MPPT (Multi Point Power
Tracking) charge controller on the market, we can't keep enough of
these on our shelves !
The OutBack MX60
Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) charge controller enables your
PV system to achieve its highest possible performance. Rated for up
to 60 amps of DC output current, the OutBack MX60 can be used with
battery systems from 12 to 60 VDC with PV open circuit voltage as
high as 125 VDC. The MX60's set points are fully adjustable to allow
use with virtually any battery type, chemistry and charging profile.
The OutBack MX60 allows you to use a higher
output voltage PV array with a lower voltage battery - such as
charging a 24 VDC battery with a 48 VDC PV array. This reduces wire
size and power loss from the PV array to the battery/inverter
location and can maximize the performance of your PV system.
The OutBack MX60
comes standard with an easy to use and understand
display of the PV system’s performance. The four line, 80 character,
backlit LCD display is also used for programming and monitoring of
the system’s operation.
The OutBack MX60
can also be connected to the OutBack MATE system controller and
display to allow monitoring of up to eight MX60 controllers from a
distant location - up to 300 feet away. The MATE also includes an
opto-isolated RS232 port for connection to a PC computer for data
logging and system monitoring.
